My first FOC QSO party was in March 2013 and it was a very enjoyable day. This event was different as in early September I was invited to join FOC and so this was my first QSO Party as a member. Conditions on the high bands started off poor and in the morning I worked […]
80m CC CW July 2013 – M0PCB
Only 102 QSOs this month, slightly down on last month but still good fun.
MW0PCB/P – Flat Holm Is. #2
MU0PCB – July 2013
MV0PCB – 100th Anniversary of the RSGB
In July 2013 the MV prefix was available for use to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the RSGB. A total of 370 QSOs were made, all CW. QSL cards were sent via the Bureau and logs are on Clublog and LoTW.
80m CC CW June 2013 – M0PCB
This was a good month for me, 122 QSOs and no duplicates. The overall rate worked out to be around 85q/hour and the doublet is still performing well on 80m.
80m CC CW May 2013 – M0PCB
Another decent month for the club championships, 100 QSOs in the log, 4 duplicates leaving 96 claimed. Again managed to keep a run going for the whole contest, though some notable call-signs missing from the log still. I really must get back into trying SO2V!
70MHz CW Contest May 2013 – M0PCB
I was a little late on for this contest, and after some fiddling around I found that with the Funcube Dongle plugged in to the K3 receive antenna port I was getting s7-8 of broadband noise across the 4m Band. I decided to cut my losses and not use the PC during the contest and […]
144MHz UKAC May 2013 – M0PCB
So, I managed to miss the April event, mainly due to having been active in the CQWPX SSB contest at M0VSQ over the Easter bank holiday weekend and then in the 80m CC CW event on the Monday evening. By Tuesday I was contested out. This month was a decent event, 27 QSOs in total, […]
80m CC CW April 2013 – M0PCB
After a weekend of CQWPX SSB this was welcome relief in the fact it was a CW event. Restoring some sense of normality here at M0PCB. I didn’t do any S&P this month, nor did I have the sub-receiver going. Either of those would have required more brain power than I could muster for this […]
