I’ve done a couple of small entries into RTTY contests in the past with mixed success of getting logging working correctly. This year I was armed with the knowledge of how to make MMTTY behave itself with Win-Test and had a ball on the bands. I worked loads of new band slots on RTTY, which was a […]
Second 70MHz Contest September 2012 – M0PCB
Only 3 QSOs in this event and I didn’t manage to spend any time CQing. View Larger Map
144MHz UKAC September 2012 – M0PCB
My best entry so far. Still only around 80W into a 4 element LFA yagi. Nice to work a few new squares and also managed to work Keith GU6EFB before the hoards descended on him. 28 QSOs in 4 DXCC countries and 10 locators. Best DX was F8BRK. View Larger Map
50MHz UKAC August 2012 – M0PCB
One of the few times I’ve managd to get on the air with the 6m Moxon. Not a very active event from IO81UT, but a bit of fun on a short time. Only 5 QSOs in 4 locators. View Larger Map
MO0PCB – London Olympics 2012
During 2012 London hosted the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Ofcom authorised the use of a special prefix character O throughout the period to celebrate this. In total 925 QSOs were made, mostly CW, and all QSOs were sent a special QSL card. Logs are also on Clublog and LoTW.
MU0PCB/P – July 2012
Between 26th and 31st July 2012 M0PCB and M0GEJ had the pleasure of travelling to Guernsey. There were two main aims for this trip. 1) Have a relaxing camping holiday with a group of friends. 2) Enter the IOTA contest with the MU0HTJ team. We were camping at The Vaugrat Campsite in northern Guernsey and […]

70MHz Trophy 2012 – M0PCB
I only managed a few couple of hours of operating in this contest as I arrived back home after a visit to family after the contest had actually started. I was using 25W from a Spectrum Transverter into a 3 element LFA on the back of the house. 8 QSOs were made in 2 DXCC […]
VHF Field Day 2012 – M0PCB
So, this part of the world doesn’t have enough folks to put together any club entries for VHF field day, but it just so happened that on the morning of Saturday 7th July I finally managed to get my 6m Moxon rectangle up in the air. I decided I could then afford some time to […]
MQ0PCB – The Diamond Jubilee
The MQ prefix had previously been authorised in 2002 for the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In 2012 it was authorised again and I was active as MQ0PCB for a second time. In 2012 just over 300 QSOs were made using RTTY and CW on the bands. All QSOs were sent the […]
