I very much enjoy these on-air events. They can vary from very laid back to a bit frenetic, where some operators are keen to maximise their QSO totals. I love the fact that I bump into people I have met and have become good friends with and exchange a few comments and greetings.
Only 2 hours in the chair this time, lots of other things going on with family that took priority.

The important thing for me is not the raw numbers but the enjoyment I get from each of those QSOs.
Band conditions didn’t seem all that good, though I did managed to make it to France and Germany, but no-one else who was active from Europe was making it to my receiver. Looking forward to more sunspots!
