This was another find at the Bishop Auckland Rally, probably in 2002. It was on the Bring and Buy for £1. I couldn’t say no for that price. It’s ex-military from around the 2nd World War era. It’s made of Bakelite and is pretty decent as a key. This one has been repaired, one side of the pivot had been chipped off and glued back in place, but that doesn’t detract from it being a nice little key.
I mounted it onto the piece of laminate off-cut that I was able to cut and shape by hand.
